How it works
GHK-Cu binds copper and appears to signal tissue remodelling: stimulating collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, supporting wound repair, and modulating inflammation. Topically it acts locally in skin; systemic effects of injected GHK-Cu are far less studied.
What the research shows
Topical GHK-Cu has controlled cosmetic studies showing improvements in skin density, fine lines and photoageing, and a long history in wound-care research. Evidence for hair growth is thinner, and evidence for injectable use in humans is essentially absent.

As a cosmetic ingredient, GHK-Cu is legally sold in Australian skincare. Injectable GHK-Cu is a different matter — it is not an approved medicine and is not listed on the ARTG.
